Patient Success Story
After being diagnosed with endometrial cancer, a patient received timely support from a nurse care manager who quickly coordinated an oncology appointment, resulting in next-day surgery. The short notice triggered intense anxiety, and the patient considered canceling.
She was referred to a social worker who helped her create a recovery plan, set up meal delivery services, and encouraged family involvement. Together, they practiced calming techniques to manage her anxiety.
The patient expressed deep gratitude for the emotional and practical support, which will continue throughout her treatment journey.
