Steve Schramm

Under Steve’s leadership, the Medical Economics and Actuarial Service team was established at both MultiCare Health System and PSW, comprising actuaries specializing in Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance products and risk-based contracting. He also led the evaluation of financial exposure and development of contract recommendations for participation in more than seven full-risk value-based contracts totaling over two billion dollars in annual healthcare spend.

Steve's previous role was with Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), where he was most recently President and CFO of QualChoice Health Plan Services, overseeing Medicare Advantage plans that operated in seven states. The largest of those, Soundpath Health, was in Washington. As President and CFO, Steve helped Soundpath Health grow to be the third-largest Medicare Advantage plan in the service area through market-leading customer service and strong engagement with key provider partners.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington and was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor before his current employment.
